Hello, my name is Suzi Alligood and I am with Xenium HR. We are an employer services and outsourced HR consulting firm. I am the Vice President of People Development and Culture. In this course we are going to talk about committing to a respectful workplace. This course is geared toward supervisors and managers and it is structured to satisfy the California training requirements for sexual harassment prevention.

The outcomes of this training are as follows, at the end of this course: 

• Apply your understanding of the law and employer expectations regarding desired workplace behavior
• Identify strategies to prevent workplace harassment & retaliation
• Create a workplace where all people feel safe, respected, valued and can perform their best work

Ultimately, these objectives are intended to create a workplace where all people, regardless of background and preferences, feel respected and valued. When people feel safe and supported by their manager, they are able to be more focused and engaged in their work.
